KATHRYN L. KEMP Mrs. Kathryn Lourene Kemp, age 85 of Houston died late Monday night, April 9, 2012 at her residence in Houston following an extended illness. She was born on November 23, 1926 in Seminole, OK the daughter of the late Cecil Harris and Pauline Swengel Harris. Mrs. Kemp was a long-time resident of Houston living in the North Shore area and was Methodist by Faith. She married Dr. William Nation Kemp on December 16, 1956 in La Marque, TX and he preceded her in death on July 15, 1997. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Wharton City Cemetery with Mr. Paul Jones officiating. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Paul & Madonna Kemp and Robert H. Kemp all of Houston and George W. & Bonnie Kemp of Ft. Wayne, IN.; sister-in-law, June Harris of Lake Jackson, TX; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
