Mr. Lynn Anthony Williams, age 46 of Wharton died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Laredo, TX following a sudden illness. He was born on January 30, 1966 in Wharton the son of Glen Williams and Lillian Roberts Williams. Mr. Williams was a life-long resident of Wharton and was Baptist by Faith. He graduated from Boling High School in 1985 and then attended Sam Houston State University. He married Sandra Lynn Hodge on February 7, 1989 in Wharton. He was a self-employed truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Williams, Sr. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11:00 am at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home with Mr. Eddie Brinkley officiating and assisted by Mr. Ryan Williams and Rev. Ray Felder. Burial followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Lynn Williams of Wharton; daughters and son-in-law, Kristin Williams and Tony Anderson of Houston and Kierra Williams of Wharton; sons, Brandon Williams of Wharton, Jon Ryan Williams of San Marcos, TX and Caleb Williams of Thompson, TX; Mother, Lillian Williams of Wharton; mother-in-law, Jackie Senf Hodge of Wharton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobbie Brown of Houston, Elvira Bess and Edwin Scott, Mary & Lloyd Allen and Kaye Williams all of Kendleton; brothers, Glen Williams, Jr., A. D. Williams and Cleon Williams all of Wharton; grandson Rashawd Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ryan Williams, Brandon Williams, Ronnie Bess, Glen Williams, Jr. A. D. Williams and Cleon Williams.
