LARRY M. GEIB

Larry M. Geib Mr. Larry Marlin Geib, age 64 of Wharton died Sunday, July 15, 2012 in a Houston Hospital following a brief illness. He was born on May 9, 1948 in Lancaster, PA the son of Clarence & Anna Geib. Mr. Geib has been a resident of Wharton for the past 20 years and was Christian by Faith. He married Frances Elaine Cobia on February 29, 1992 in Eagle Lake, TX. He worked in the maintenance department of Wharton I.S.D. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Funeral services were held at 10:00 am Friday, July 20, 2012 at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Fling of Eagle Lake officiating. Burial followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Survivors include his wife, Frances Geib of Wharton; daughters, Christina Geib and Heather Geib of Wharton and Tracy Geib of Hungerford; son, Larry Geib, Jr. of Pennsylvania; his mother, two sisters, three brothers, four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were; Gary Bethke, Johnny Garcia, Chris Carranza, Carlos Munoz, Victor Mata and Ray Mejorado. In lieu of usual remembrances the family requests memorials to the charity of your choice. Funeral services were under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
