William Rene Samora

Mr William Rene Samora, age 41 of Boling died Saturday, August 4, 2012 from injuries sustained in a car accident in Brazoria County. He was born on October 24, 1970 in Newgulf, Texas a son of Guadalupe Samora, Jr. and Sylvia Carbajal Samora. Mr. Samora was a longtime resident of Wharton County. He was raised in California and the Boling area and attended school there, also. He joined the United States Army and served honorably until his discharge. On December 18, 1999, he married Elisa Reyes in Wharton. Rene was a carpenter by trade and an all around handyman. He enjoyed fishing, helping others, and cooking for his family. He was a board member of the Boling Youth Football League, the Boling Little League and was a member of the NGT Smokers BBQ cookoff team. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday evening at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 3pm at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Survivors include his wife, Elisa Samora of Boling, son, Aaron William Samora of Boling, mother, Sylvia Geisler of Boling, father, Guadalupe Samora, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Wharton, grandmothers, Irene Carbajal of Boling and Nieves Samora of Rosenberg, sisters, Mandy Carbajal of Houston, and Laura Samora-Ortiz and husband, Jamie of Wharton, brothers, Guadalupe Samora III of New Jersey and Victor Delgado and wife, Regina of Wharton, Mother in law, Lydia Reyes of Boling and Brother in law, Joe Reyes, Jr and wife, Anita, of Boling. He is also survived by his nieces, Jessica and Jayme Reyes, Olivia Irene Carbajal, and Alana Delgado and nephews Joe Reyes III, and Angel Delgado and family friend Cory Demart.. Pallbearers are Eric Ruegger, Robert Ruegger, Alvino Carbajal, Joe Reyes Jr., Russell Diaz, Tom Elliott, Robert Samoraand Edmund Samora.
