Lila Dawanda De Los Santos Mrs. Lila D. De Los Santos, age 68 a resident of Wharton, Texas who was a long time resident of Baytown, Texas died Saturday, August 11, 2012 in a Sugar Land Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on February 5, 1944 in Atoka, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late George Leonard Gibson and Grace Goforth Gibson. Mrs. De Los Santos was a resident of Wharton and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Wharton. She was married on December 5, 1975 to Frank De Los Santos. They enjoyed traveling to the many places his job took them with their fifth wheel in tow. She also loved to fish, and shop QVC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Cindy Annette Cummings and Sherry Jeannette Dial. Following cremation, memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home at 2pm. Survivors include her husband, Frank De Los Santos of Wharton, daughters, Brenda Kay Nino and husband, Manuel Jr. of Baytown, and Ginger Graham and fiance, John Steen of Wharton, sons, Frank De Los Santos and wife, Charlotte of Portsmouth, Virginia, Joe C. De Los Santos and wife, Theresa of Lake Forrest Ca, Nasario De Los Santos and wife, Linda of Odessa Tx, Edward Lee De Los Santos of Norwalk, Ca, and Matthew J. De Los Santos , sisters, Mae Crite and husband, Jim of Amarillo and Yvonne Gafford of Sterling Co, brother, G.L. Gibson and wife, Jane of Newcastle Ok. Eighteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive.
