Felicita Hernandez

Felicita Hernandez Mrs. Felicita Hernandez, age 82 of Wharton died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in a Stafford, TX hospital following an extended illness. She was born on May 2, 1930 in Boling, TX the daughter of the late Pablo Martinez and Clotilde Caballes. Mrs. Hernandez has been a resident of Wharton since 2000 and a former resident of Boling and El Campo. She was married to Nicholas Hernandez and he preceded her in death on May 27, 1972. She was also preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers. She was Pentecostal by faith and attended St. Robert’s Catholic Church in El Campo. She enjoyed being outdoors. A Rosary was held at 7:00 pm Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home and funeral services were held at 10:00 am Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Wharton Funeral Home with Father Lawrence Matula officiating. Burial followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy De La O of El Campo; son, John Sedillo of Boling; one step-daughter and two step-sons; sister, Ernestine Alsene of Angleton; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ana De La O, Wendi De La O, Zach Zambrano, Leslie Sedillo, Laura Sedillo, and John Manuel Sedillo. Funeral services were under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
