MICHAEL CENKO Paul Michael Cenko, age 27 of Houston and a former resident of Wharton died Tuesday night, October 30, 2012 in a Houston Hospital following a motorcycle accident. He was born on June 2, 1985 in Houston the son of Russell Joseph Cenko and Deborah Ann Franz Cenko. Michael graduated from Cy Falls High School in Houston in 2003 and was a member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church in Houston. He also attended Wharton County Junior College. He was a veteran having served in the U. S. Navy. He worked as an Oil Field Equipment Assembler for National Oilfield Varco. He loved being outdoors, playing basketball, golf, soccer, skateboarding and paintball. Following Cremation, memorial services will be held at 10:00 am TODAY, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Wharton with Rev. Laura Olson officiating. Survivors inclulde his parents, Russell J Cenko and Rev. Debbie Cenko of Wharton; sister and brother-in-law, Kaytee and Ken Johse, Jr., and niece and nephew, Kynsley Johse and Kyler Johse all of Wharton; uncle and aunts, David & Colleen Franz of Caledonia, N.Y. and Jacqueline Cenko of Calumet City, Illinois and cousins, Thomas and Cindy Earnest of Albuquerque , New Mexico. Honorary PallBearers are: Michael Moreno, George Puskas, David Smith, Cory Gonzalez, Buddy Williams and Derrick O’Neil. In lieu of usual remembrances the family requests memorials to the First Presbyterian Church, 1602 John Knox, Wharton, TX 77488. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
