Elaine Perez Truchan

Ms. Elaine Perez Garcia Truchan, age 63 of Houston did Saturday, December 8, 2012 in a Houston hospital following a brief illness. She was born on October 21, 1949 In Robstown, TX the daughter of Juan Perez and Maria De Los Angles Herrera Perez. Ms. Truchan was a long-time resident of Houston and a former resident of Auburn, New York. She was a retired administrator for D.T. Quality Tools and also worked as an assembler for Welch-Allyn Medical Equipment. She also was the owner of E. T. Blinds in Houston. She was Catholic by Faith. Friends may call for visitation after 6:00 pm Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Wharton with Father Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Roberto Aparicio of Taylor, TX and Christine and Jason Robinson of Kingwood, TX; son and daughter—in-law, Jesse John and Lorena Garcia, Sr., of Katy, TX. sisters, Frances Arrambide of El Campo and Diana Ponder of Houston; brothers, Paul Perez of Katy, TX, Johnny Joe Perez of Jacksonville, FL. And Jesse Rodriguez of Wharton; grandchildren, Issac Ray Aparicio, Joie Christine Aparicio, Lucia Elena Aparicio, Jesse John Garcia, Jr., Angelina Micaela Therese Garcia. Pallbearers will be Jesse John Garcia, Sr., Jesse John Garcia, Jr., Sylvester Arrambide, Jr., Issac Aparicio, Roberto Aparicio and Jason Robinson.
