David Neal Vineyard, age 61, of Wharton died Sunday, February 3, 2013 in Fairfield, Idaho following a lengthy illness. He was born on September 11, 1951 in Wharton, TX the son of the late Ben Lynn Vineyard II and Maribeth Lang Vineyard. Mr. Vineyard graduated from Wharton High School in 1970 and attended Texas A&M and the University of Texas. He was a man of many professions, but art was his passion. Neal enjoyed traveling, camping, reading books and spending time with his daughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, King Vineyard. Following Cremation, memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home with Mr. Sherrill Spear officiating. Survivors include his daughter, Myriah Rose Vineyard of Wharton, brothers, Ronald Lynn Vineyard of Houston, and Ben Lynn Vineyard III of Fairfield, ID, uncle, Dr. Robert Stirling Vineyard and wife, Nancy of Wharton and aunt, Carole Vineyard. His nieces and nephews, Brandie Bodungen and husband, Derrick of El Campo, Geni Hubbard and husband, Daniel of Las Vegas, Maribeth Paytas and husband, Dennis of Fairfield, ID, and Ben Lynn Vineyard, IV of Las Vegas, also survive.
