Tiffany Marie Rodriguez

Tiffany Rodriguez, age 27, and her daughter, Aaliyah Peters, age 6, both of Boling, passed away Wednesday evening, May 1, 2013, due to injuries sustained in a multi car accident just South of Wharton. Tiffany was born on November 20, 1985, a daughter of Alfonso Rodriguez and Diana Amador Ruiz. Tiffany Marie Rodriguez was born in El Campo and raised in the Wharton area. She graduated from Wharton High School. On May 29, 2006, she welcomed her baby girl, Aaliyah into her life. Mother and daughter did everything together from that point forward. Both ladies were involved in their church, Center Union Baptist Church in Hungerford, where they sang in the choir. When Aaliyah was old enough, she joined the Just Do It Now Cheerleaders. She and her mother were always seen at practices, games, and other events where Aaliyah was always in the front row, and Tiffany was always there encouraging her little girl. Tiffany worked in the home healthcare field while Aaliyah was a first grade student at Newgulf Elem. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2013 at Eastgate Baptist Church in Wharton with Rev. Derrick Dawson officiating. Burial followed in the Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Boling. Tiffany is survived by her parents, Diana Ruiz and husband, Armondo of Boling, and Alfonso Rodriguez of Kennedy, grandparents, Julia Rodriguez, David Amador and wife, Janie, and Catarino Rivera all of Wharton, sisters, Erica Ruiz and Alexandra Ruiz both of Boling, Simona Martinez of Hungerford, and Jessica Garcia of Rosenberg, brothers, Patrick Rodriguez and wife, Crystal of Wharton and Chris Avila of Fort Worth. Her aunts and uncles, Connie Castro and husband, Johnny, David Amador and wife, Sharould, Angela Roberson and husband, Ron, Mary Chavez and husband, Pepe, Dennis Amador and wife, Nely, Rene Rodriguez and Susie Garcia all survive. Pallbearers were John Garza, George Garza, R.J. Roberson, Joe Castro, Rene Rodriguez, David Amador, Jr., and Jeffery Hayes. Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Amador, Xxavier Garza, Johnny Castro, III, Hershal Walker, and Devin Williams.
