Charlie R. Bock, Sr. Charlie Robert Bock, Sr., age 83, passed away peacefully from this life on May 12, 2013. Charlie was the only child born to Henry Washington and Gertrude Agnes (Barker) Bock on May 16, 1929 in Glen Flora, Texas. Charlie was a retired farmer, rancher and used car dealer in Magnet, Texas for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church Magnet. Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Corrian Boehm Bock of Ganado; Step-sons, Jeff VanPelt and his wife, Peggy of Victoria, Michael VanPelt and wife, Debbie of Ganado, Douglas VanPelt and wife, Jan of Katy, Clay VanPelt and wife Shelly, of Inez, Grand-daughter, Cheryal Gavranovic and husband William, of Wharton, Grandsons, Jeramy Stavinoha of Wharton and Robert Bock of Magnet. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Gertrude Bock, Son, Charles Bock, Jr., Daughter, Judy Stavinoha, Grand-son, Nicholas VanPelt, and former wife, Bernice Janik. Visitation was held on Tuesday evening May 14, 2013, at the Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be TODAY at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Wharton, Texas. Pallbearers are Jeramy Stavinoha, Garland “Pee Wee” Bock, Earnest Bock, Bubba Bock, David Nuckels, Robert Bock, Danny Gavranovic, and Bobby Nicholson.
