Jeanette Buxkemper Kalina

Jeanette Buxkemper Kalina, age 49 of Wharton, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at a local hospital. Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. Jeanette Buxkemper Kalina was born on November 13, 1963 in Wharton, Texas to Frank and Gloria Skobla Buxkemper. Jeanette was a Secretary for the Boling ISD for many years. She was married to Jeff Kalina of Wharton on October 27, 1984. Jeanette was a member of many organizations. She was a member of the 4-H Club as leader, Girl and Boy Scout Leader, Little League member and coach, Boling Fair Fund Secretary and supporter, Member of the Coastal Plains Cowboy Church and Wednesday night Bible study and Boling ISD Piems Transportation Coordinator. Her hobbies were watching football, baking, enjoying her children and grandson, counted cross stitch, photography, reading the Bible, and doing crosswords out of the newspaper. Jeanette is survived by: her husband Jeff Kalina, daughter; Ashton Kalina of Boling, Son; Jeffrey Kalina of Corpus Christi, Granson; Jace Tobin, Her parents, Frank and Gloria Buxkemper, brother; Donald Buxkemper of East Barnard, and also numerous nieces and nephews.
