Betty Jean Bozarth

Betty Jean Bozarth, age 86 of Wharton passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 28, 1929 in Harlingen, TX to parents, Claude and Martha Lois Sanders Massey. Betty was raised in the Yoakum area and graduated high school there. She married Marion C. Bozarth on August 16, 1946 in Yoakum. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2007. She was a homemaker all her life. Betty enjoyed playing piano, painting, and traveling. She was Presbyterian by faith. In addition to her parents and husband, her daughter, Twyla Ahrens, preceded her in death. In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated with no local services.
