Fannie Martinez

Fannie Martinez, age 89 of Wharton passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013, at her residence following a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 4, 1924 in Weimar, Tx. Fannie is preceded in death by her husband Santos Martinez Sr., sons, Thomas Martinez Jr., Freddie Martinez, and Luke Martinez, a grandson Thomas Martinez Jr. No services planned. Survivors include her daughters, Janie Gusman and Rachel Merlos, sons, Santos Martinez Jr. and Raymond Martinez, sisters, Mickey Cerrillo, and Dora Compos, one brother, Paul Aguilar, 24 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
