Marcia Ann Malone

Marcia Ann Malone, age 68 of Wharton passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at a Wharton nursing facility following a lengthy illness. She was born on August 18, 1948 in Huma, AZ to parents, C.H. and Erma Ankrom Burrow. Ms. Malone was raised in the Boling-Wharton area and graduated from nursing school, receiving her LVN degree. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, her pets and going to garage sales and antique dealerships. Her sons, Sean Bowers and wife, Denice of El Campo, and Chad Bowers and wife, Rebecca of Wharton, grandchildren, Caden, Colden, Kiran, Connery and Rina Bowers, survived Marcia. In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated with no local services. There will be a private graveside ceremony at a later date.
