Richard Arnold Richard Arnold, age 90 of Wharton passed away Friday, October 4, 2013. Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday October 10 at First United Methodist Church in Wharton. Family to receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wharton Funeral Home. He was born December 19, 1922, to Walter and Alice Arnold in Bremond, Texas. Richard graduated from Pennington High School and attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance in 1952. He was also a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Arnold was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Wharton. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Vicki Arnold in 1980, sister Mary Jane Dominey, and also brothers Odell, Homer, Edwin, Noble, Henry Stone and Bill Arnold. Survivors include daughters Janet Folschinsky and husband Rodney of Tomball, and Patti Meyen of Needville. Son Ronnie Arnold and wife Diane of Wharton, brother Thomas Hale of Hurst, Tx., 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and also special friend Billie Jones of Wharton.
