Hortencia Espinosa Juarez Hortencia Juarez, age 71 of Wharton passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 30 at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday with a prayer service at 7:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service at Evergreen Memorial Park. Hortencia was born August 17, 1942, to Petronillo Espinosa and Eloisa Yanez Espinosa in Edna, Texas. She married the late Jesus Juarez in December 1968. Hortencia was a member of Bethel Church in Wharton. She is preceded in death by her parents Petronilo and Eloisa Espinosa; spouse Jesus Juarez, her brothers Juan and Victor; sisters Rachael and Lupe; niece Karlene; sons Robert Espinosa and Pete Ray Juarez. She is survived by her son Jesus Roland Juarez of Richmond; her granddaughter Candace M. Juarez of El Campo; grandson Micheal J. Green-Juarez of Richmond; brothers and sister-in-laws Augustine and Paula Espinosa of Glen Flora; Joe and Christine Espinosa of Wharton; Eli and Mary Espinosa of Columbus; and her loving nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives.
