Billy Thomas Davis Sunrise January 29, 1929 Sunset November 20, 2013 Billy Thomas Davis peacefully passed awayon the evening of November 20, 2013 with his loving family by his side. He was born on January 29, 1929 to orval and Sallie Davis in Stafford, Texas. Billy grew up in Boling, Texas and lived in the Wharton County area where he was a water well driller and oil producer at the Boling Dome. He later lived in Pearland Texas where he owned Davis Water Well . He later retired and lived in Van Vleck, Texas. He met the love of his life, Josephine Brem in West Columbia, Texas. They were married 63 years and raised a family of five children. He was later blessed with 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren that adored him. Billy was a hard working man. He took pride in his work and loved people. He loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family that loved him so dearly. Today he is celebrating in heaven with his loved ones that went before him. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sons, Ronnie and Donnie, brothers, Tommy, Jimmy and Curtis Davis. He is survived by his wife, Josephine David, son, Larry Davis and wife, Margaret, daughters, Marilyn Davis Walters and Katheryne Davis Jenkins, his brothers, Walter Davis, Leon Davis, and Alfred Davis, sisters, Betty Jane Teeler and Mary Ann Wells. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a special sister in law, Adalee Davis and many loving nephews and nieces. Visitation was held Tuesday evening, November 26 from 6 till 8 pm at Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm today, Wednesday, November 27 at Wharton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Pallbearers are Chrisopher Davis, Michael Davis, Jason Davis, Justin Walters, Daniel Jenkins and Ricky Davis.
