Anton Theodore Rychlik

Anton Rychlik, Jr., age 98 of El Campo and formerly of Boling, TX died Thursday morning, November 28, 2013 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born on May 19, 1915 in Chappell Hill, Texas, a son of the late Anton, Sr. and Rosalie Wisnefska Rychlik. Anton was raised in the Cottonwood area of Fort Bend County and attended school there. He married Esther Lindemann in 1937 in Rosenberg. She preceded him in death on December 31, 1993. Anton worked as a rice farmer most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family. Anton was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Boling for many years. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings and son Clarence Rychlik. Anton is survived by his daughters, LaVonne Cochrum and husband, Jerry of El Campo, and Janice Jessen and husband, Michael of Seguin, daughter in law, Carol Rychlik of Boling, grandchildren, Mark Cochrum and wife, Kristine, Paul Cochrum and wife, Ann, Jennifer Jessen, Matthew Jessen, Julia Jessen, Jessica Thome and husband, Clayton, Michael Rychlik, and wife, Jeaneen, Robert Rychlik and wife, Jennifer, and Laura Svatek and husband, Jeffery, great grandchildren, Jon, Britany, Amanda, Ashley, Mark Alan, Steven, Kimberlee, Justin, Travis, and Janna and great great granddaughter, Raylynn. Visitation was held on Tuesday evening, December 3, 2013 at St Joseph Catholic Church, Boling from 6 till 8 with a parish rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, with Mass at 10 am at St Joseph Catholic Church in Boling with Fr. Albert Yankey and Fr Dominic Antwi-Boasiako officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Rosenberg at 2pm. Pallbearers include Mark Cochrum, Paul Cochrum, Michael Jessen, Robert Rychlik, Matthew Jessen and Jon Cochrum.
