Anthony Louis Duyka Anthony Duyka, age 75 of Wharton passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday December 12th at Evergreen Memorial Park in Wharton. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home on Wednesday December 11. Anthony was born September 2, 1938, to Anton and Marie Ondrias Duyka in Hungerford, Texas. Anthony graduated from Eagle Lake High School and attended Wharton County Junior College. He was also a proud U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran. Mr. Duyka was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton. Survivors include his wife Shirley Duyka of Wharton, Sisters; Carolyn Austin of Eagle Lake, Sister-in laws; Doris Wilson and Sharron Hines both of Boling, Brothers; Clinton Duyka of Houston, and Gregory Duyka of Austin, a brother-in-law Carl Wilson of Lanett Alabama, also 3 nephews, and 2 nieces. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
