Ronald Lester Shultz Sr. Ronald Shultz, age 71 of Wharton passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday December 13th at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 12-2:00 p.m. Friday at Wharton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. Ronald was born October 10, 1942, to Lester and Ruth Speelman Shultz in Orrtanna, PA. Mr. Shultz married Jean Himes on March 25, 1995 here in Wharton. Ronald was also a proud U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran. He is preceded in death by a daughter Michele Shultz in 1996. Survivors include his wife Jean Shultz of Wharton, Sons; Ronald Lester Shultz Jr. of Orrtanna, PA, Shane Brian Shultz of New Iberia, LA, and a step son Jeff Millhimes of Richmond, TX., Sisters; Darlene Miller, Sandy Kint, Sue Miller and Kim Fitz, Brother; Rick Shultz, 4 Grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
