Leta Dora Huebner

Leta Dora Huebner, age 56, of San Antonio, Tx died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at a San Antonio hospital following a brief illness. She was born on November 2, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas, a daughter of the late Marcus Taylor and Wynelle Ada Schlick Huebner. Leta was raised in Wharton and attended school here. She enjoyed watching sports, participating in Special Olympics, being active and animals of all kinds, especially dogs and horses. She was a former member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Wharton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Huebner. She is survived by her brothers, Roger Huebner of Oklahoma and Taylor Huebner and wife, Jeannette of Dallas and sisters, Mary Overstreet and husband, Paul of San Antonio and Nell Sagehorn and husband, Jerry of The Woodlands, and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 9:30 am at Wharton Cemetery with Rev. Laura Olson officiating.
