Estefana Ballejo

Estefana (Tia Chita) Ballejo Estefana Ballejo, age 80 of Wharton past away Monday, December 23, 2013. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to the funeral service on Friday. Burial will follow chapel service at Cressent Cemetery in Glen Flora. Pallbearers: DJ Cisneros, Douglas Cisneros, James Cisneros, Secundino Alameda, Magdaleno Ballejo III, Joe Ross Ballejo, and Stephen Craig Alameda. She was born on September 6, 1933 in Wharton, TX. Mrs. Ballejo has been a resident of Wharton all of her life, and was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista Church in Wharton. She is preceded her in death by a nephew Frank Cisneros. She worked as an extension agent for the State of Texas. Survivors include a brother, Elias Ballejo of Wharton, a sister, Elena Villasenior of Wharton, a nephew, Leroy Cisneros of Montana, and also a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
