Paul Garcia Ramos

Paul Garcia Ramos Jr., 56, of Wharton and formerly of El Campo, Texas, passed away April 6, 2014, in a Wharton hospital.  Paul was born October 16, 1957 in Brownfield, Texas to parents Paul Tellez Ramos, Sr and Benita Garcia Ramos.             Paul was raised in the El Campo area and attended El Campo High School. He worked for many years in construction and at Gulf Service Station in El Campo. He enjoyed visiting  with people, dancing in his younger days and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.             Survivors include son, Silvestre Ramos and fiancée Martha Flores of Gulf Port Mississippi, granddaughter, Olivia Renee Ramos and many friends and relatives.                Visitation was held on Thursday April 10 from 9 am till 2 pm at Wharton Funeral Home followed by funeral services at 2pm with Father Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Burial followed in Glen Flora Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Christian Galvan, Fernando Benevidez, Cody Benevidez, Pernell Zambrano, George Zambrano and Anthony Vega.
