Carolyn Lee Vaughan

Carolyn Lee Vaughan Carolyn Lee Vaughan, age 64 of Dallas, lost her battle with liver disease on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Cambridge Skilled Nursing Center in Richmond, Texas with her son James by her side. She was born on May 13, 1950 in Rosyce City, Texas. A daughter of the late D.W. Swarner and Lila Louise Vaughan. Ms. Vaughan was a long time resident of Dallas, Texas where she worked for Freeman Enterprises for 27 years. She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas where she loved her Sunday school class and sang in the choir. She also enjoyed antiques and music. Following cremation, private family services will be held on July 26, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas at 11:00 a.m.. Survivors include her daughters, Aimee Heather Fricks and husband Jonathan of Seatle, Washington and Holli Harkleroad of Paris, Texas. Sons James Ryan Johnson of Boling and Justin Heath Vaughan of Wharton. Sister Helen Jean Moran and Brother Donald Wayne Swarner. Grandchildren Kourtney Johnson, Gabriela Johnson, Kaleb Harkleroad, Triston Harkleroad and Great Grandchild, Lilianna Ontiveros. Funeral services were under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
