Raymond Paul Munoz, age 55, of Wharton died Monday, July 21st, 2014 at a Bay City Hospital following a sudden illness. He was born on April 18, 1959 in East Bernard, TX a son of Pascual B Munoz Sr and Irene Fiqirova. Mr. Munoz was a life-long resident of Wharton. Raymond worked for years for Pantone-Industrial. He attended school in Hungerford. Raymond enjoyed drinking, eating, traveling, shopping, long drives, being with family and spoiling his grandkids. His brothers, Pascual B. Munoz Jr. and George Munoz, preceded him in death. A visitation was held on Thursday evening at Wharton Funeral Home at 4 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral service to be held at 11 a.m Friday July 25, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Danso officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton; Tx. Pallbearers are Alex DeLaRosa, Reyes DeLaRosa, Edward Garcia, Jr, Mike J. Munoz, Timothy Delgado and Donald Delgado. Survivors include his daughters, Stacie Munoz of Bay City Kimberly Munoz of El Campo and Natalie Erevia of Bay City, sons, Raymond Munoz Jr. of Austin and Philip Erevia and wife, Casey of Bay City, sisters Susie Perez and husband, Paul of El Campo, Dolores DeLaRosa and husband Richard of Bay City and Cindy Vidales and husband Michael of Bay City and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
