Ruben Campos Rios

Ruben Campos Rios Ruben Campos Rios, age 58, of Boling, Texas, passed away at a Stafford hospital on Friday August 1, 2014 following a lengthy illness. He was born May 21, 1956, in Newgulf to the late Enrique Gonzales Rios and Margaret Campos Rios. Ruben was raised in the Newgulf area and graduated from Wharton High School. Ruben served our country in the United States Navy. He worked as a welder for McLain Trailers for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, BBQing with friends and family and building hog traps. In addition to his father, Ruben was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Rios. Memorial services were held on Monday evening at 7 pm at Wharton Funeral Home with Rev. Benito Villarreal officiating. Survivors include his mother, Margaret Rios of Boling, daughters, Crystal Silguero and Corina Rios, both of Houston, son, Ruben Rios Jr. of Houston, sister, Grciela Rios Pallanez, brothers, Henry Rios and Vincent Campos Rios, and granddaughter, Lauren Gonzalez Funeral services were under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
