Justin Kyle Joyce Justin Joyce, 16, of Wharton, Texas, passed away on Saturday November 1, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born July 4, 1998 in Wharton, Texas, the son of Kevin and Susan Korenek Joyce. Justin was raised in the Iago area and was a junior at Boling High School. He was very active in FFA, showing animals at numerous Wharton County Fairs, and judging teams. He played baseball and football for many years. Justin enjoyed hunting, going mudding and being with his friends. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Boling and was in the Confirmation Class. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Joyce and grandmother, Gladys Korenek. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, November 5, 2014, 5-7pm with a parish rosary recited at 7pm at Holy Family, Family Life Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton with Rev. Daniel Danso and Deacon David Valdez officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Serving as pallbearers will be Kade Bickham, Jared “Bear” Lopez, Billy Yoes, Zack Zepeda, Mason Hobizal, Steven Hodge and Mikey Joyce. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Boling Bulldog Football Team. Justin is survived by his parents, Kevin and Susan Joyce of Wharton, sister, Kylee Joyce, grandfather, Benjamin Korenek, grandmother, Vivian Joyce, aunts and uncles, Glen Korenek, Bruce and Sharon Korenek, Lynn Joyce, Larry and Lisa Welch, Gene and Debbie Shanks, Royce and Johnna Sheek, cousins, Chad Korenek and wife, Mandy, Jenna Taylor, Stephanie, Cody and Becca Korenek, Michael and Misty Joyce, Johnny Joyce, Callie Joyce, Brandon and Stacey Shanks, Heather Shanks, Zak and Janae Mitchell, Chris and Kristen Hargrave, Andy and Amy Welch and Leslie Welch along with little cousins, Mikey, Jacob, Karli, Khloe, Luke, Colt, Jax, Maddy, Sully, Rayne, Cannon, Brylee and Hannah.
