Mary Jane Denson

Mary Jane Denson, age 73, of Cypress, Tx, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She was born on December 29, 1942 in Borger, Tx, the daughter of the late Verlin and Olivette Hancock Noland. Mary Jane graduated from East Bernard High School in 1961. She made a career as a Contract Administrator in the Oil and Gas industry. In her spare time, Mary Jane enjoyed crafts such as painting, drawing, and making jewelry, as well as reading. She was a true Prayer Warrior and loved Jesus her Lord and Savior with all her heart. She was preceeded in death by her sister Nancy Bedford and brothers Bill Noland and Roy Castles. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, from 10 a.m. until noon at Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m., also at Wharton Funeral Home, with David Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, also in Wharton. Pallbearers will be Matthew Denson, Greg Lester, Andrew Rice, Gilbert Aguilar, Kenneth Brown, Billy Tucker, Brian Baker, Levi Nealy and Stanton Broussard. Mary Jane is survived by her daughter Robbye Jones and her husband David, of Cypress, Tx; son Todd Denson of Bellaire, Tx; grandchildren Kaitlyn Denson, Matthew Denson, Rachel Jones and Greg Lester and wife Kerri; four great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who loved her.
