Martha Ramirez Rodriguez, age 45, of Wharton, Tx, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. She was born on February 7, 1970 in Wharton, Tx, the daughter of the late Guadalupe and Pauline Garcia Ramirez. She attended Wharton High School. Martha and her beloved husband Demencio Rodriguez were joined in matrimony on February 14, 2007. She made a career as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Martha always put everyone else before herself. She loved cooking, helping others, and taking care of her sole granddaughter. Spontanious trips to anywhere were always enjoyed, with Bath & Body Works being a favorite destination. She was preceeded in death by her parents, sister Gloria Ramirez and brother Ruben Ramirez. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, March 11, also at Wharton Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmie Ramirez, Guadalupe Ramirez, Jr., Stevie Flores, Guadalupe Flores and Andrew Flores. Martha was survived by her husband Demencio Rodriguez; daughter Brittney Renee Flores and her partner Jonathan Taylor, of Wharton; sons Stevie Ray Flores, Guadalupe Antonio Flores and Andrew Flores Jr., all of Wharton; sister Mary Ramirez and her husband Stephen of Palestine; brothers Jimmie Ramirez and his wife Debra, Guadalupe Ramirez Jr. and his wife Anita, David Ramirez, James Ramirez, Julius Ramirez, Luis Ramirez and his wife Bertha, Jessie Ramirez and his wife Melinda and Joe Ramirez; brother-in-law Juan Benitez; and granddaughter Jazlyn My’Kelle Taylor.
