Mary Jochec, age 86, of East Bernard passed away to be with her Heavenly Savior on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at her home following a lengthly illness. Mary Magdalene Fojtik Jochec was born on March 20, 1929, the daughter of Albina and Fred Fojtik. The seventh child of ten siblings, she was also a twin. She met Richard B. Jochec, the love of her life, after he returned home from WW II and they were married on October 7, 1947 in East Bernard. They had five beautiful children and shared over 67 years of marriage. Mary always taught her children the meaning of life and to always love one another and treat everyone with respect. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, cooking, gardening and living in the country. She adored her special dog, Bonnie, and her kitty, ChiCha. She is now blessed by the Lord seeing all her loved ones that have gone before her.
