Rosalio “Charlie” Sagala Jr. Rosalio “Charlie” Sagala, Jr., age 82, of Wharton, gained his angel wings in heaven on May 22, 2015 in Webster, Texas. Charlie was born on September 11, 1932 to Rosalio Sagala, Sr. and Elena Gonzales Sagala in Lane City. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, and brothers and sisters, Frank Sagala, Joe Sagala, Carmen Garza, Margie Sagala and Lupe Perez and the love of his life, Felicita Marin Sagala. Charlie was raised in the Lane City area and attended Wharton schools. He married Felicita Marin and they lived in the Wharton area for many years. He worked for Brown and Root for many years. Charlie was a BJ’s Coffee Shop regular, enjoyed telling jokes, yard work and being with family. Following cremation, visitation with the family will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 5 until 7 pm at Wharton Funeral Home. Charlie is survived by his daughters, Linda Lujan and husband, Rene of Friendswood, Carol Lynch and husband, Terry David Lynch of Wharton, stepsons, Greg Vargas, Jr. and Theodore “Lolie” Vargas both of Wharton, grandchildren include Christopher Canales and wife, Kristin, David Lynch and wife, Stacy, Sarah Elizabeth Lynch, Greg Vargas, III, David Vargas, Eric Vargas, Evelyn Vargas, Julie Huerta, Zachary Vargas, Felisita Vargas, Kristie Gonzales, Theodore Vargas, Jr. and wife, Tara and Joseph Vargas, great grandchildren, Madison Canales, Jimmy Gonzales, Jr., Kobi Gonzales, Kortnie Lynn Davenport, Logan Lynch and Lyndi Lynch and several nieces and nephews.
