Mr. Gary Lee Krobot, age 62, of Boling died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Boling, TX, following a long illness. He was born on March 29, 1953, in Pensacola, Florida, a son of Emil and Dorothy Sawyer Krobot. Mr. Krobot was a longtime resident of Wharton County. He attended Wharton High School before serving in the United States Marine Corp. He worked most of his life in construction building industrial plants. When time allowed, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and building things. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents Joe and Marcella Krobot and Robert and Eval Sawyer; parents-in-law Pete and Agnes Samora; and brother Tommy Hession. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 6th at Wharton Funeral Home starting at 9:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Rabun officiating. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Luella Samora Krobot; daughter Jacquelyn Krobot and her partner Robert, of Boling; son Joshua Krobot and his wife Jessica of Wharton; sisters Jacklyn Strickland and her husband Dan of Carolton, Georgia, and Phyllis McHaney and her husband Mike of Boling; brother Robert Joe Krobot and his wife Linda of Matagorda; grandchildren Sabrina, Genesis, Hannah and Nicholas; and Godchildren Samantha Munoz, Brianna Gonzales, Nina Araguz, Elijah Krushall, Alena Campos and Christian Campos. Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Munoz, Thomas Gonzales, Nino Araguz, Ronald Krushall, Quincy Campos and Jesse Goodrich. A special honorable mention goes to any and all industrial construction workers. Funeral services are under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
