Martha Ann Schultz

Martha Ann Schultz, age 90, of Wharton passed away early Monday morning September 21, 2015, at a Richmond hospital following a brief illness. She was born on September 6, 1925 in Glen Flora, Texas to the late Bruno and Angelica Brenk Wisnieski. Martha was raised in Glen Flora area and graduated from Crescent School. She worked as a prescription nurse at Richmond State School for many years, following that with working in the home health field. Her most important job was being mom, grandmother, and great grandmother for her family. She married the father of her children, Joseph Kachmar on March 7, 1944. She later married Alvin Schultz on October 15, 1976 and he preceded her in death on August 23, 1986. She was catholic by faith. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bruno Wisnieski, sister, Vera Lindberg, son, Joe Ray Kachmar, grandsons, Jason Kachmar, Nathan Brown and Jeffery Kachmar and great granddaughter, Harper Prasek. Following cremation, graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreem Memorial Park. Martha is survived by her sons, Bobby Kachmar and wife, Florine, Bill Kachmar and wife, Judy and Tom Kachmar and wife, Sandra all of El Campo, daughter, Vicky Brown and husband, Terry of East Bernard, daughter in law, Jenny Kachmar of Houston, grandchildren, Shelly Cruz and husband, Brandon, Steven Brown, Cala Brake and husband, Michael, Christopher Kachmar, Donna Knuppel and husband, Alan, Brenda Socha and husband, Kirk, Rhea Prasek and husband, Troy, Matthew Kachmar and wife, Laura, William Kachmar,jr and wife, Lisa and Daryl Kachmar and wife, Tracy, Great grandchildren, Sarah and D.J. Minkel, David-Shane and Payton Brake, Savannah and Weston Knuppel, Kayleigh Garden, Darby and Keaton Socha, Pierson and Wyatt Prasek, Taylor and Piper Kachmar and Dylan and Cody Kachmar. Funeral services are under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com.
