Ofelia Garza Vazquez died on Monday, October 26, 2015, in Humble, TX. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5-9 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 at Wharton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Ofelia was born on August 26, 1953, in El Campo, Texas. She graduated from Wharton High School before she married her husband, Bernardo Vazquez on November 17, 1986, and becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook, spending time with her grandkids, and playing phone games. She is predeceased by her mother Consuelo Garza. She is survived by her husband; daughter Anna Rodriguez & Noel of Houston; sons Felipe Gusman Jr. & Audra of Houston and Joseph Gusman & Patricia of Houston; aunt Guadalupe Garza of Wharton; sisters Lecia Mendoza of Houston and Annie Torres & Juan of Wharton; grandchildren Noel Jr., Jessica, Noah, Joey, Angie, Kaiden, Jaclynn, Anastasia, Iana and 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 1 aunt and many cousins. Pallbearers for Thursday's services were: Felipe Gusman, Joseph Gusman, Noel Rodriguez Jr., Victor Flores, Mauricio Gonzales, and Noah Rodriguez.
