Kelley Rainbolt

Kelley Rainbolt, 70, of Wharton, died December 2, 2015, in Houston, TX. Kelley was born on March 1, 1945, in La Mesa, TX, to Alvin and Mary Honea Scheel. Kelley graduated from La Masa High School before earning multiple graduate degrees at Texas Tech University. Kelley lived in Wharton, and taught primarily in El Campo. She will always be remembered as a good and kind person, and “the teaching finger”. She loved to laugh and giggle, especially on car trips through the Texas Hill Country with friends. She was survived by many family and friends, especially her dear friends Judy Alice Johnson, Diana Matula, and Richard James Boehm, D.D.S. She also leaves behind her little Miss Tater Tot, her Miniature Chihuahua. A private remembrance will be held at a later date. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
