Brandie Ann Chapa Vargas

Brandie Ann Chapa Vargas, 32, of Wharton, died December 5, 2015, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Wharton, TX. Brandi was born on July 16, 1983, in Galveston, TX, to Cesar and Brenda Ramirez Chapa. Brandie was always young at heart. She always loved the outdoors, be it deer hunting with her dad, fishing, riding 4 wheelers, or camping. She loved her kids most of all. She was survived by her husband Eric Vargas; parents Cesar Chapa and Brenda Ramirez; daughter Desirea Chapa; sons Dillon Vargas, Devin Vargas, Derrick Vargas and Darren Vargas; sister Cesalee Chapa; maternal grandmother Tomacita Lopez; paternal grandmother Anita Chapa; nephew Aiden Brdecka and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will start at noon on Saturday, December 12, with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home with Rev. Franc Piaz officiating.
