Stephen A. Mack, 67, of Wharton, died February 10, 2016, in Wharton. Steve was born on May 28, 1948, to Jay and Elizabeth Mack, in Galesburg, Illinois. He earned his Bachelors in Business Administration from Texas Tech. Steve was married to the love of his life, Jana Mack. He was devoted to his family, and his clients as a Case Manager for All the Little Things Count, assisting children and adults with disabilities. He was a perpetual cowboy. He loved his horses, and the non-profit he founded, All the Little things Country, that provided horse therapy to the disabled. He was preceded in death by his son Sean Mack and his brother Michael Wayne Mack. He was survived by his wife Jana Harris Mack; his parents Jay and Elizabeth Mack; daughters Emily Harper and Katie Wood & her husband Nathan; son Cody Cory Mack; sister Vicki Burris; brother Kendall Mack his wife Rachel and their daughter Amanda Butler; and grandchildren Chandler Harper, Savannah Harper, Melanee Wood and Malorie Wood. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, from 10 - 2 at Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home with Chaplain Jody Maas of Houston Hospice officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bouncy Cerny, Nathan Wood, Henry Wobbe, Bruce Matheson, Robert Spitzmiller and John Herron. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fibber Houseworth, Eric Guthrie, Curtis Monder, Kendall Mack and Chandler Harper.
