Josephina Lopez Becerra, 84, of Boling, TX, died April 4, 2016, in Boling, TX. Josephina was born on January 4, 1932, to Ewardo & Josephina Lopez, in Wharton, TX. She was a loving wife to her husband Robert Becerra, Sr., until his death in 1990. She was dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to shop, have her nails done and play Chalupa/a version of Bingo. She also loved trips to Louisiana for gambling. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Maria, Epifania, Pabla and Tia Shan Antu-Bocanegra, and brothers, Martin and Cepreno. She was survived by daughter Rosie Cantu of Boling; sons: Robert Becerra, Jr. & Deborah, John Becerra & Maria Juanita of Boling, Ruben Becerra of Boling, Reynaldo Becerra of Wharton, Raymond Becerra & Olivia of Austin and Rocky Becerra and Mariana of Freeport; grandchildren: Timothy Taylor, Charolette Taylor, Denise Becerra Flores, Rudy Becerra Jr., Angelica Becerra Zavala, Juan Becerra, Ruben Becerra Jr, Christopher Becerra, Lori Becerra, Adrian Becerra, Jessica Becerra, Roxanna Lopez, Angel Becerra, Raynoldo Becerra Jr, Josephina Becerra, Samuel V. Rangel, Natalie Lewis, Eric Rangel, Valerie Ramirez, Victoria Becerra, Ruby Becerra and Robin Becerra; and thirty nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home. Services will be on Wednesday at 10:00 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with Father Antonio Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Serving as Pall Bearers are Ruben Becerra Jr, Samuel V. Rangel, Eric Rangel, Adrian Becerra, Rudy Becerra, Ray Becerra Jr, Christopher Becerra and Timothy Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers are Juan Orlando Becerra and Erik Alameda.
