Ruth Wisnieski Rod Ruth Wisnieski Rod, 81, of Wharton, died April 8, 2016, in Richmond. Ruth was born on December 3, 1934, to Frank and Regina Guthman Wisnieski, in Wharton. She married the love of her life, Milton Rod, and was his devoted wife until his death in 2014. She worked as the owner and operator of a TV Repair. When she could, she enjoyed fishing and crabbing in Freeport. Ruth also loved to bake for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Anthony Wisnieski. Ruth was survived by her daughter, Melissa Rod of Wharton, son, Donnie Besch of Spring, TX, special friends, Norman Boedecker Jr. and Irene Corny, sisters, Lois Franz & Curtis and Sue Looper, brothers, Richard Wisnieski & Kathy and Sammy Wisnieski & Reba, grandchild, Taylor Besch.
