Robert Lee Brast Jr. Robert Lee Brast Jr., 61, of Angleton, TX, died Monday, May 2, 2016, in Lake Jackson. Robert was born on November 9, 1954, to Robert Brast, Sr., and Virgie Jean Clark Brast, in Wharton, TX. He graduated from Wharton High School and attended Wharton County Junior College and Texas A&I Kingsville before becoming a Chemist with Dow Chemical, later he worked for the Brazosport Facts. Robert loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, travel and photography. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Russell Brast. He was survived by his step-mother Monty Brown, sister-in-law Christey Brast, nephew Cody Brast, and step-grandmother Ruby Hudspeth. Visitation will be Thursday starting at 6 p.m. at Peace Tabernacle Church in Wharton. Funeral service will be Friday at 10 a.m. also at Peace Tabernacle Church with Rev. Tolbert Hudspeth officiating, assisted by Rev. J. Michael Bumgarner. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
