Glenn Kulak, age 50, of Boling, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, following a lengthy illness, at a Bay City nursing center. He was born on June 14, 1966 in Wharton, Texas, a son of Charles Henry Kulak, Sr. and the late Patricia Ann Krenek Kulak. Glenn attended and graduated from Boling High School in 1986. He later attended Wharton County Junior College studying refrigeration. He worked for Turfgrass America for many years as a dispatcher before leaving in 2006. Glenn enjoyed hunting, camping, riding horses, and was a good dancer. He had a special fondness for George Strait music and John Wayne movies. Visitation will be held at Wharton Funeral Home on Friday evening starting at 6pm, June 17 with a parish rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2pm at Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton with Father Bob Knippenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Serving as pallbearers are Dude Merecka, Vince Reina, Jr., Luther Pittman, Scott Simpson, Woody Tydlacka, Tommy Urbanovsky, Kelly McCorkle and Russell Hubenak. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Tasha Gilmore, Stacey Dotter, Gary Gajewsky, the Staff of Texas Children’s Hospital of Houston and the Staff of the Transplant Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann in the Medical Center. Survivors include his children, Cheyanne Marie Kulak of Manvel and Allan Thomas Kulak of Needville, father, C.H. Kulak, Sr. and wife, Vivian of Boling, sister, Patti Hubenak husband, Russell of Boling, brothers, Charles Henry Kulak, Jr. and wife, Kim of Boling, and Thomas Kulak and wife, Lyn of Boling, nieces and nephews, Jonathan Kulak, Whitney Kulak, Will Hubenak, Haley Hubenak, Alyssa Downs and Heather Kulak, great nieces and nephews, Banker, Summer and Emmett.
