Adelina Reyes Castillo

Adelina Reyes Castillo, 80, of Wharton, died August 23, 2016, in Rosenberg. Adelina was born on September 3, 1935, to Leopoldo and Juanita Reyes, in Wharton. She worked in various healthcare establishments in the dietary department for over twenty years. Her favorite things were gathering her children and grandchildren together, Bingo and singing. She is survived by her husband, Antinio H. Castillo; daughters Lydia Garza and husband Louis, Linda Castillo, Anna Castillo, Sylvia Garza and husband Mickey; Helen Natividad and husband Marcus; sons Antinio Castillo Jr. and wife Rosa; Richard Castillo, John Castillo and wife Sylvia, David Castillo and wife Delia, Rudy Castillo and wife Virginia and Danny Castillo; four sisters; three brothers; fifty-five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with Father John Kollannur officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Serving as Pallbearers will be her six sons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rene Castillo and Rudy Bosquez, Jr. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
