"JD" John David Luther

John David Luther, 18, of Hungerford, died August 21. Commonly called JD, he was born on January 22, 1998, to John and Beverly Luther of Hungerford, TX. JD graduated from Wharton High School, Class of 2016. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, playing basketball, running and vacations at the lake. He was training for Christian ministry, at Straightway Ministry in Hungerford, TX and also studying architectural design to help in the family business of design build. John David had a kind, quiet, loving and humble character that positively affected all those around him. JD was excited in his studies, and preparing for his future with his fiancé' Taylor Bell of Houston, TX, who has become the love of his life. JD was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother, Elizabeth (Mickey) Luther. He is survived by his parents; John and Beverly Luther of Hungerford, sisters Lindsey Stefanovich of Cordova, TN and Mary of Hungerford. He is also survived by his Paternal Grandfather John Luther, Sr of Germantown, TN; Nephew Connor Luther of Cordova, TN. Other surviving relatives include his Aunt Judy Luther of Germantown, TN. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Lifeway Church, FM 1161 @ CR 218 in Hungerford, with David Kirschke officiating.
