Theresa Ann Barron

Theresa Ann Barron, 55, of Lane City, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, following a short illness in El Campo at a hospital. She was born April 22, 1961 in Wharton, Texas to the late Sipriano and Inez Munoz Barron. Theresa was raised in Lane City and attended Wharton High School. She worked for many years in the food industry, as a chef assistant. Her favorite “job” was helping to babysit her numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed writing poetry, and visiting with friends and family. She was a member of the Methodist Faith. Theresa is survived by her siblings, Raymond Barron, Vicky Chavez and husband, John of College Station, Martha Barron of Boling, Dale Garza of Houston, Sipriano Barron, Jr. of Lane City, Robert Barron of Lane City and Israel Barron and wife, Debbie of Wharton, along with numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Following cremation, memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with Rev. Domingo Barron officiating.
