Lucille Elizabeth Harrison, 85, of Boling, died October 8, 2016, in Bertram, Texas. Lucille was born on July 3, 1931, to Albert and Susie Cavazos Harrison in Vanderbilt, Texas. Lucille graduated from Lyford High School. After graduating, she moved to Pledger,Texas, where she worked at Malone's Store. It was there she met Lloyd Wayne Terrell. They married on May 23, 1958 in Lyford, Texas. They spent the next 45 years together raising their two daughters, working hard, and enjoying their lives together. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2003. Thirty years after graduating from high school and becoming a homemaker and seamstress, she went back to school and attended Wharton County Junior College where she graduated with honors with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She loved gardening and sewing. Her roses were legendary. She got her first sewing machine when she was 8 years old and sewed for everybody with or without a pattern. She made anything from wedding dresses to cheerleading costumes. Her girls fondly remember her years as a Girl Scout Leader, something she would reflect back on fondly. Others remember her for her giving spirit. She also loved to tell others how proud she and Lloyd were of having put two daughters through Texas A & M. She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters Willie Mae Garza and Susan Harrison; and brothers Robert Harrison and Fred Harrison. She is survived by daughters Peggy Terrell of Midland, TX and Lori Gibbs and Jack of Georgetown, TX; sisters Darlene Perez of Lyford, TX and Joyce Taylor of Boling; grandchildren Mindy Terrell, Noah Gibbs, Rachel Gibbs and Rebecca Gibbs; and great-grandchild Madisyn Terrell. Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5-8p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:00 at Wharton Funeral Home with Bro. Skip Holman officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Serving as Pallbearers will be Weldon Boerger; Wayne Archer; Jerod Thomas; Noah Gibbs; Brad Wittig and Jack Gibbs. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jose Perez; Larry Taylor; Bill Beck; Michael Terrell; Lynn Joyce and Leonard Wittig. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
