Andrea Walters Warner, 61, of Sugar Land, TX, died Saturday, October 15, 2016, in Sugar Land, TX. Andrea was born on June 21, 1955, to the late Jessie and Elizabeth Walters at Fort Benning, GA. Andrea’s father was a retired Colonel of the U.S Army. She lived all over before settling in Houston, TX. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Peay State University and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Corpus Christi State University. She worked for SYSCO Foods for 30 years. Most recent years as an Executive Assistant to the CFO and Executive Assistant to the Chairman. She loved her work and her SYSCO family. She continued to work right up until her passing. She enjoyed many pass time activities, but none quite as much as sitting out on the pier at their lake house in Livingston and fishing. It never mattered if the fish were biting, just being out was heavenly for her. She had a passion for dancing and loved to shop. She is survived by her husband, John Warner; step-daughter Yvonne Warner; step-son Seth Warner; brother Steve Walters and his wife Janet; and step-grandchildren Robin, Morgan and Jordan. The family will have a private remembrance at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask friends and family to consider a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
