Jarquis Malcom Johnson Sr. "Peanut", 24 of Freeport, Tx passed away October 13, 2016 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Freeport, Tx. He was born in Wharton on February 20, 1992 to RosaMarie Dennis and Jimmy Johnson. He has made the Freeport area his home with his wife and two kids for the past 8 years and has been a Brazoria County resident since he was 10. Jarquis "Peanut" Johnson was a loving and handsome young man who had a smile that was as radiant as the sun. He loved to make friends and family laugh. Everything that built his character shined through him all the time. His main priority were his wife and kids. He would never be caught at home because he loved taking his family out. He took great joy in presenting himself and great pride in being very well dressed. A sneakerhead who loved all shoes, but Jordans were always his best interest. Motorcycling became a hobby and his interest grew more each time he rode. He took a profession in the refinery plants in the surrounding areas as a scaffold builder for 5 years and a pipe fitter for over a year. Jarquis is lovingly remembered by surviving family: wife, Isabel Johnson, and two children Ana'Lyse Nykole Johnson and Jarquis Malcolm Johnson Jr., mother RosaMarie Dennis and husband Charles. Father, Jimmy Welton Johnson, Sr., paternal grandparents William Edward Johnson and maternal grandparents Jesusa Valdez Montalvo. Siblings Jamale Johnson, Jimmy Welton Johnson, Jr., Crystal Marie Cuellar, Jazma Brittany Johnson, Jarvis Jermaine Johnson, A'Dorothy Lee Johnson, Derrick De'Wayne Allen jr., Shane Johnson, Jaylee Johnson. Several Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts and cousins. Preceding his death are grandmother A'Dorothy Lee Johnson and Brother-in-law Tony Gonzalez. The family received friends October 18, 2016 at Wharton Funeral Home, 515 E. Boling Hwy, Wharton, Tx 77488. A vigil was at 8 a.m followed by visitation. Funeral Service was held on the same day at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. A reception will follow at Boling Fire Station Hall. Serving as Pallbearers were brothers, Jarvis Jermaine Johnson, Derrick De'Wayne Allen Jr., cousin Anselmo Muniz Jr. and very great friends David Nieto, Jose Mendoza and Hector Diaz.
