Lyndon Krenek, 61, of Angleton, Texas, died December 8, 2016, in Angleton. Lyndon was born on October 27, 1955, in Wharton to Albert Krenek and Kay Ann Strouhal Krenek. Lyndon was raised in the Wharton area before living in Pearland, Richmond, and other area towns. He will be remembered as having a mind like a steel trap and his love of Dr. Pepper. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Chris Krenek; aunts Helen Janik, Betty Ann Krenek, and Dagmar Krenek; uncles Don Strouhal, Robert Krenek Daniel Krenek, Frank Krenek, and Paul Krenek, Jr. He was survived by aunts Betty Mueller & Don, Georgia Kincer, Ann Strouhal and Josephine Krenek; uncles Thomas Krenek & Yvonne, and Frank Janik; niece Polly Owens; nephew Chris Krenek, and numerous other family members who loved him. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 13, from 5-9 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7, at Wharton Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Wednesday, December 14, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church with Father Charles Dwomoh officiating. Serving as Pallbearers will be Hal Chudalla, Gary Krenek, Paul Krenek, Gene Macha, Don Strouhal Jr., and Gene Strouhal.
