Mark Voss

Mark Reagan Voss Mark Reagan Voss, 63, of East Bernard, died December 29, 2016 at his residence in East Bernard, Texas. Mark was born on December 30, 1952 in Houston, Texas to the late John and Adoria Voss. Mark grew up in the Houston area. He graduated from John Foster Dulles High School in Stafford, Texas. He went on to become an Electrician, a career that took him many places and which he excelled at and found fulfillment in for 40 years. Mark lived and raised his kids in Owosso, Michigan where he worked for himself as the owner of Voss Electric. In 2005, he travelled to Afghanistan where he worked on American military bases for several years. In 2009, he moved back to Texas to be closer to family and friends. He lived in East Bernard for the last four years of his life. Mark is survived by his son John Voss of Michigan; daughter Natalie Voss of Michigan; sister Sheila Tise of Wharton; sister Jeanine Voss of Houston; step-mother Joan Voss of Houston; three nieces and a nephew; as well as his friend and the mother of his children Cheryl Voss. Mark was a storyteller with an adventurous spirit, had faith in Christ, loved others well and truly, and was a damn fine whistler. He will be deeply missed.
